Evaluating the best retirement plan for your needs - SEP-IRAs, profit-sharing plans, and money-purchase pension plans.

Helping you identify an appropriate plan, investment choices and administrator.

Monitoring you plan to make sure that the components are performing effectively.

Assist your benefits staff with ERISA fiduciary responsibility requirements.

Conducting periodic seminars for plan participants to help them make sound decisions.

Investment Advisory

M&C Financial Services is a full-service investment advisory firm. The advisory service consists of providing advice on investments on either a fee or commission basis.

Comprehensive investment advice is rendered on specific investments. In addition, asset allocation strategies are utilized to allocate saving and/or retirement plans assets into various investments to diversify risk and maximize return. This allocation is built on the modern portfolio theory, which subscribes to the hypothesis that return is more determined by asset allocation than it is by picking a specific investment.

Wealth Accumulation

Another area where we can be of service is in financial planning for both personal and company needs. Our services include planning for retirement, college, or other goal funding, as well as assistance with corporate buy-sell agreements, tax deferral plans, and many other areas.

Wealth Transfer

This is primarily accomplished through estate planning and planning for transferring assets to succeeding generations. This service also attempts to save estate tax upon the death of the taxpayer. Additionally, this service can also include asset protection strategies. These would include strategies to exclude assets from the estate or protect assets from creditors.

In order to help us deliver the service to you, we have a comprehensive estate planning profile organizer that we can walk you through the planning of the process. This lists net worth, assets, liabilities and also asks for budget information. This will give us enough information with which to begin an estate plan.

We will have at least two meetings with a client to discuss initially what their assets and liabilities are and to discuss any other family goals or wishes. Clients then get a report from us which starts with actions to take in order to minimize estate taxes. This report is followed by actual calculations of their estate tax presently, and then after the actions that we recommend are implemented. We can also help you with any implementation, whether it is by completing legal work with a lawyer or any other actions taken with the employer.
