Client Service Philosophy

Randy strives to bring exceptional value to relationships with his clients; whether through providing timely and responsive service, creative solutions to problems or just practical answers to everyday problems. Randy draws upon his experiences in and out of public accounting to provide meaningful advice and feedback to his clients.

Experience

Randy began his public accounting career in 1981 with KPMG Peat Marwick, where he became a Senior Manager in the Audit Department of the Roanoke office. While at KPMG, he was responsible for services to a wide variety of clients with special emphasis in manufacturing, retail, and distribution clients. He left KPMG in 1995 to become Controller for a chain of 850 auto parts stores based in Roanoke, where he was responsible for all accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting functions. Randy joined McLeod & Company in October of 1997, and became a partner in July of 2000.

Specific experience includes:

	Assisted clients with development and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and controls
	Assisted clients with development and enhancement of financial analysis and reporting policies and procedures
	Substantial experience in LIFO inventories
	Assisted clients with various SEC filings
	Conducted budgeting and strategic planning for high growth company
	Responsible for implementation of cost containment programs
	Directs the firm's outsourcing services

	Participant in many fund-raisers for area and national non-profit organizations
